What is Letterpress?

Letterpress is a type of relief printing where a special surface is inked and then pressed into a sheet of paper. This form of printing dominated since Gutenberg until 1950s. In 1990s, thanks to Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine that the Letterpress returned to fashion and now is widely regarded as 'bridal chic'.
Numerous celebrities have had letterpress wedding invitations, not least one of the most adorable actresses, Zoey Deschanel (wedding invitation on the left) and the Beverly Hills 90120 actor Jason Priestley:

I think the titles are very reflective of New England connotations that Letterpress evokes!
